Instructions

The first thing you need to do is pick a difficulty.

If you are new, you should begin with Casual.

Once you've selected your difficulty, you will see a few things.

First, you will see at the top left your day number and your population number.

You will also see a couple of buttons below the game screen-

We will get into those later.

The goal of the game is to grow your village, and to get all the achievements.

If your population hits 0, you will lose, so make sure to not let that happen!

So, how does your population go up and down?

Every so often, more people will join your village.

You can also attract villagers by clicking the Attract button a few times.

Next to that, every so often lightning will strike your village

and you will lose population.

Upgrades

You can buy upgrades to help you out with your village.

To buy them, you have to pay with population.

To get more villagers faster, buy the "Population Upgrade".

You can buy it again later, so it will help you even MORE-

But then it will cost more population too

To make lightning not strike as much, buy the "Lightning Upgrade".

You can also buy it again later.

The last upgrade is called the "Time Machine".

It will make days go faster.

This is solely useful for getting one of the achievements.

Days will also be used for High Score once I figure out how to make that work.

Game Over & Achievements

If your population hits 0, it will say that your village is dead.

When that happens you can either go play something else because you are mad and/or bored,

Or you can reload the page and try playing again.

You know you got an achievemnt because a new villager will pop up on the screen.

At the start, there is a villager wearing red, which shows you got an achievement for starting the game.

Once a green villager pops up, for example, it means you got another achievement.

If you win on Extreme mode, show me a screenshot and your username can be in it!
